Oh my GOODNESS, I am SO excited to be able to announce The Homemaker’s Collective is returning for a 2022 season. It’s officially been decided to make this an annual collective, and we are gearing up for our 2nd one! Join us!
The Homemaker’s Collective is a FREE series of various masterclasses and workshops running this September through November, for ANY woman interested in acquiring these vital skills all women are called to be equipped with.
Titus 2:5 tells us that we are “to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to [our] husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” The Homemakers Collective classes will seek to equip us as wives and mothers to be confident in our homemaking and keeping our home. It is called “The Homemakers Collective” because as women, I firmly believe God has called us all to be homemakers. Even single women can (and should!) make and keep their home and acquire these skills. This doesn’t mean that we cannot have other passions, but that is not what God calls our focus to be. He calls for our ministry to be our husbands, children, and family. Simply put, homemakers are in charge of managing their homes. It is not an oppressed, but rather a highly privileged role, in my opinion that I am proud to have, and hope to encourage other women to feel the same.
Each workshop and skill will be led by a volunteer homemaker with a niche and passion for the selected class topic. Donations are always a great way to show appreciation to each of the women sacrificing their time and skills to teach the class, as each skill taught will be completely free to attend and participate.
